SKX vs SRPD — End Links & Case Differences
Both take 22mm straps — that part is easy. The trap is bracelets: SKX and SRPD cases are shaped differently, and an end link cut for one leaves an awkward gap on the other.
Rule: two-piece straps interchange freely at 22mm; bracelets with fitted end links do not — end links are cut for a specific case silhouette.
What interchanges, what does not
| Part | SKX ⇄ SRPD | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 22mm two-piece straps (rubber, leather, NATO) | ✅ Direct fit | Standard spring bars, no case interface |
| Bracelets with straight end links | ✅ Fits, small gap | No case matching needed |
| Bracelets with curved/fitted end links | ❌ Case-specific | End link curve follows one case shape |
| Spring bars | Check diameter | Fat-bar vs 1.8mm differences — see spring bar guide |

Why the gap happens
The SKX007 has the classic cushion case; the SRPD family softens and rounds the lugs. A curved end link engineered for the SKX sits against the SRPD case at the wrong angle — the visible result is the gap owners complain about, and no amount of spring-bar fiddling closes it.
Buying rule
Buy the bracelet stated for your case. If a listing only says “fits Seiko 22mm”, assume straight end links. Full sizes: SKX007 · SKX013.
FAQ
Will an SKX bracelet fit my SRPD?
Only with straight end links. Curved end links are cut for one case shape and leave a gap on the other.
Do SKX and SRPD share strap width?
Yes — both 22mm, so all two-piece straps interchange.
What about Turtle and Sumo?
Also 22mm, but their cases need their own curved-end straps for a clean fit.
